Gear clusters are difficult to warranty as they are installed by other people that may or may not know what they are doing. Take a close look at your cluster to be sure it’s excellent before installing! Once a gear cluster is installed into a transmission there is no warranty! We would be more than happy to try to help figure out why you had a failure, but we can not offer refunds or warranty repairs/replacement parts.
To be completely straight forward, we wish there was a way to warranty parts that are used and run in a vehicle, but unfortunately there is a risk having others assemble and install parts like this and that’s the risk you take. There is a reason why no one else offers gear clusters or as many parts as we do for the DIYer. If you don’t know what to look for then you shouldn’t be doing the work yourself. If you are not comfortable with this risk, then have us rebuild the transmission for you. That way there are no questions and the assembly will be covered by our 14 month warranty!
The legal way of putting it:
Due to the nature of performance applications, the parts are sold without any express warranty or any implied warranty. Jacks Transmissions shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damage, or loss, or claims of customers of the purchaser, which may arise and/or result from sale, installation or use of these parts. Installation of these parts could adversely affect vehicle manufacturer’s warranty coverage.
