Standard Rebuild 3S 5-Speed
This is an OEM type of build service for your 5-Speed 3S AWD Transmission. The build includes replacing all forward synchros / friction liners with genuine high quality Getrag components, which provide the best shift possible. Here is a breakdown of new parts included with this build package:

3-5 Synchros (5-Speed)
Output Shaft / CV Seals
Intermediate Shaft Bearings (Both Ends)
Output Shaft (18 or 28 Spline)

This transmission rebuild is recommended for all AWD 3S cars (3000GT, Stealth) with stock to mild upgrade power levels.
This rebuild is for the trans that still works but maybe grinds, makes some noises, feels sloppy or just needs to be refreshed. As the TT AWD 3000GT/Stealth gets older, it is becoming less affordable for some to do a rebuild with ALL new parts. We will thoroughly inspect gears, shafts, hub / sleeves, differential, planetary gear set, viscous coupling assembly, and the remaining bearings inside the transmission for wear. We assure that the gear box will shift like new or better, will have reset bearing pre-loads, and will look like new. A quality rebuild for those on a budget and for the daily driver.
Parts cleaned using industrial parts washers and the exterior is coating. In some cases, the case externals may need to be media blasted prior to coating to ensure all the corrosion and rust has been removed. This is an optional service we offer for an additional charge. With the best cleaning equipment, we also have a very clean facility. All units are built in a spotless environment and using tools, and benches, which are clean and only used for assembly purposes. In other words, the same tools used to pull your dirty old trans out of your car are NOT the same tools used to rebuild your pristine unit afterward. Take a look at the typical shop and check their tools. It is shocking how dirty things are in most shops and that dirt will end up in your unit. That doesn't happen here.
