This refresh includes upgrading the case bolts from 8MM to 10MM to prevent case and gear breakage, tighter bearing preloads, new seals & o-rings, complete tear down and cleaning, and some modifications to help the stock front diff (located inside the T-Case) to live longer with more power. This is the most economical upgrade we offer for the EVO T-Case.
Please note that if your T-Case is making whining noises, then the ring and pinion gears are wiped out and you have to do a full rebuild. This refresh option does not include replacing the ring and pinion gears.
This refresh has been known to handle cars with enough power to squeeze into the 10s, but we recommend it for cars no faster than low 12s in the 1/4 mile.
If you want this T-Case to go as fast as 9s in the 1/4 mile with no issues please select the Quaife or Wavetrac Front LSD Diff in the options menu below. The stock front differential becomes the weakest part of your EVO T-Case, after we perform our upgrades. Replace it now and you will never have to worry about it breaking!
