The difference between this build and the 1.0 is this one has all of the synchros replaced with the sliders. More new and expensive synchro parts are included with this build over the 1.0. This build includes a replacement t-case OEM output shaft free of charge if yours is worn out. NOTE: we will replace your output shaft with a good used one. We highly recommend that if your output shaft is worn that you replace it with the 300M shaft. They are far superior and well worth the money. This transmission rebuild is recommended for all AWD 3S cars (3000GT, Stealth) with stock power levels. This is for both 5-speed and 6-speed transmissions.
This rebuild is for the trans that still works but maybe grinds, makes some noises, feels sloppy or just needs to be refreshed. As the TT AWD 3000GT/Stealth gets older, it is becoming less affordable for some to do a rebuild with ALL new parts as seen in our Value and Premium builds. Our Value and Premium builds should seriously be considered since we replace many parts with NEW factory Getrag parts from over-seas and it is a rebuild worth the price. This economy rebuild will replace synchros, bearings, and 1st or 2nd gear if needed (1st and 2nd have the most wear and we will replace them if they look to be a problem to give the the highest quality shift possible). The tranny will shift like new or better, will have reset bearing preloads, and will look like new. A quality rebuild for those on a budget and for the daily driver.
